The Macquarie Hotel, a beautifully restored 1875 manor house, is situated in the heart of Hobart's historic CBD. This boutique hotel blends Victorian and Edwardian decor with modern luxuries, featuring high ceilings, period details, and a grand timber staircase, offering an intimate charm for both business and leisure travelers.
Guests are a 5-minute walk from Hobart's waterfront and Salamanca Place, and a short drive from major attractions like Wrest Point Casino, Cascade Brewery, and Mount Wellington.
The hotel features 15 individually decorated guestrooms, each equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with digital programming, heating/cooling, a mini-fridge, electric kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms include an ensuite bathroom with basic toiletries and a hairdryer. Ironing facilities are also provided, and housekeeping is available on request.
