Solmar Resort is a cosy, traditional Mexican property nestled on the exclusive Playa Solmar, at the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Hidden behind granite cliffs, this beach hotel offers direct access to a sandy beach and breathtaking ocean views. It is conveniently located just steps or a 5-minute walk from the shopping, dining, and nightlife of downtown Cabo San Lucas and the bustling Cabo Marina. Nearby attractions include Land’s End, Plaza Bonita, Cabo Dolphins, The Point (all less than one mile), and El Arco (approximately 2 km). Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is approximately 44 km away, with a chargeable airport shuttle service available. A taxi rank, bus stop (100m), and car rental services are also nearby.

The resort features 104 guestrooms and suites, spread across a 5-storey main building and 8 adjoining buildings. Each room offers a private patio or balcony, many overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Suites are well-appointed with kitchenettes including refrigerators and stovetops, satellite/cable LED televisions, air conditioning, coffee makers, marble floors, granite countertops, and tiled bathrooms. Private bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations, deep soaking bathtubs, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Select rooms also offer linen service, blackout curtains, separate living rooms, and mini-bars.

Guests can enjoy two outdoor freshwater pools. One is a three-section complex featuring a large children's area and a swim-up cantina, while the other is an adults-only pool designed for wave-resistance lap swimming. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and a poolside bar are available.

Dining options include three restaurants serving Mexican, international, sushi, and local dishes, with themed nights and special romantic dishes for honeymooners. A snack bar and coffee shop/cafe are also on-site, complemented by two bars/lounges. Room service is available 24-hours, and daily breakfast is offered. Guests can choose between all-inclusive packages (covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, wine, and cocktails at certain times, plus one a la carte meal) or design an a la carte getaway.
