First Hotel Grand Odense

First Hotel Grand is an iconic city hotel in the heart of Odense, established in 1897. Located on the high street, it blends vibrant city life with historic charm and modern conveniences. The hotel comprises two unique buildings: a historic main building from 1897 exuding romantic elegance in a national romantic style, and a modernist wing from the 1950s reflecting timeless Scandinavian design with clean lines and functional solutions.

The hotel offers 135 individually decorated guestrooms across 8 different categories, ranging from standard single rooms to Junior Suites. Each room features a flat-screen television, cable programming, and complimentary wireless internet access. Private bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs or showers, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Conveniences such as safes and irons/ironing boards are provided, with mini-bars and bathrobes available in select rooms. Housekeeping is available on request.

Guests can enjoy dining at Grand’s Fiskerestaurant, specializing in seafood, or relax with a drink at Grand Bar. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Room service is available during limited hours. Please note that the bar/lounge and dining venues are closed seasonally from December 17 to January 2.

Please be aware that due to the age of the historic buildings, they are not accessible for guests with mobility impairments, and the hotel does not offer accessible toilet facilities.
