Riffelalp Resort 2222m is a 5-star, family-friendly hotel located in Zermatt, offering ski-in/ski-out access directly within the ski, hiking, and biking region above Zermatt. It is situated near ski lifts and close to Zermatt-Furi Gondola, Matterhorn Glacier Ride, Klein Matterhorn Cable Car, and the Matterhorn.
The resort features 70 guestrooms and suites, many offering balconies and breathtaking Matterhorn views. Each room is designed for comfort and includes a minibar, flat-screen Smart-TV with cable programming and in-room video streaming, complimentary Wi-Fi, a Nespresso coffee machine, and a safe. Private bathrooms come with a bathtub or shower, designer toiletries, a hairdryer, bathrobes, and slippers. Select rooms also offer linen service, a coffee/tea maker, and bottled water. Daily housekeeping and room service (during limited hours) are provided.
Guests can enjoy a variety of culinary delights at the resort's three restaurants, offering international cuisine, fine dining, Italian, and local specialties. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 7 AM to 10:30 AM. A bar/lounge is also available for drinks.
The Spa 2'222m offers a comprehensive wellness experience, including an outdoor pool heated to 35°C, an indoor pool, a sun terrace, a selection of saunas, a steam room, a hot tub, and a solarium. Massages, body treatments, and other spa services can be booked. A fitness center is also available.
The resort provides a range of services including a 24-hour front desk with multilingual staff, concierge services, luggage storage, and a computer station. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Additional conveniences include babysitting services (available upon request for a surcharge), a train station pick-up service (surcharge), car hire, and accessible parking. Guests can purchase ski passes, rent ski and mountain bike equipment, and arrange ski lessons directly at the hotel. Other amenities include laundry service, ticket and tour assistance, and a lobby with an on-site fireplace. Smoking is permitted in designated areas. In summer, Europe's highest tram operates within the resort.
