Centara Grand Beach Resort Hua Hin, originally the Railway Hotel (opened early 1920s), is a beachfront colonial-style resort in Hua Hin's town center. It features 251 air-conditioned rooms with minibars and flat-screen TVs, bathrooms with bathtubs or showers, and complimentary toiletries. Amenities include four restaurants (including Railway Restaurant and options for international, grilled meats and seafood, and Japanese cuisine), two coffee shops/cafes, a bar/lounge, and a poolside bar. Cooked-to-order breakfasts are available daily (fee applies). Recreational facilities comprise three outdoor swimming pools, outdoor tennis courts, a steam room, and a spa offering massages. Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, a picnic area, a business center, complimentary newspapers, dry cleaning/laundry services, a conference center, seven meeting rooms, and free self-parking. The resort is undergoing renovations from April 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026 (completion date subject to change), affecting dining venues, the front desk, select guest rooms, and the swimming pool. Renovation will occur during business hours. The resort is within a 15-minute walk of Hua Hin Beach and Hua Hin Railway Station, and close to numerous shopping and dining options.
