60 Hyde Park Gate Hotel

Situated in the heart of Kensington overlooking Kensington Gardens with wonderful views of Kensington Palace. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the city’s cultural highlights – Knightsbridge with Harrods', Sloane Street and trendy Notting Hill. The hotel’s décor is both baroque and contemporary, with subtle Italian touches. Some of the suites have walls lined in gold leaf which represents the Italian sun. A water feature in the hotel entrance pays direct homage to the fountains found in Italy’s “piazze” and the photographs in the rooms honor the great Italian sculptures. 18 rooms and 49 suites, all with black wood parquet floors. All guest rooms have a double wardrobe, mini-bar, espresso coffee machine and a plasma TV system. Some suites have a working fireplace. Bathrooms have dark wood floors, mirrored walls and hand-made copper basins imported from Morocco.
